Local context for Central Diplomatic mission: postcode 10330 · near Phloen Chit BTS station. Complete guide: Certified Translation Services in 33+ Languages

Topic 01 · Medical record handling for international insurance claims

Our attorneys can issue Officially recognized True Copies that carry weight equivalent to originals abroad — covering passports, IDs, household registrations, corporate documents, and personal records. For complex chains — language rendering + lawyer certification + MFA + destination consular post + courier — we prefer one engagement, one project manager, one invoice. Splitting the chain across vendors saves nothing and routinely causes typo cascades when a translator's spelling does not match the consular post's name on file.

Topic 02 · Destination Matrix: per-country document requirement analysis

Service fees follow the quote; standard turnaround is 1–3 business days. Rush 2–4 hour service adds 50–100%. Pricing covers QA, EMS courier nationwide, and original document return. We document everything for repeat commercial. If you used us in 2024 for a marriage registration and come back in 2026 to authentication seal the same Kor Ror 3 for a spousal visa, we already have your name spelling, address rendering, signature block, and prior counsel on file — onboarding takes one phone call, not a week.

Topic 03 · International courier (DHL/FedEx) with full-value damage insurance

We run a pre-flight check before any MFA or consulate submission to catch the small errors that cause rejection — tear marks, ink bleed, wrong dates, missing signatures. Our official rendering team works in language pairs, not single languages. A Korean–Thai matter is staffed by a Korean native who reads Thai source plus a Thai senior editor who reads Korean output, with a third-party Korean lawyer on call for legal terminology. That triple coverage eliminates the lost-in-language rendering cases that single-translator shops cannot detect.

Topic 04 · Professional licence applications for overseas regulators

Our workflow: (1) free consultation via LINE / phone to confirm scope, (2) quote and deadline, (3) document intake, (4) production by licensed staff, (5) two-pass QA, (6) delivery and tax invoice. Service users track status 24/7 via reference number. If your matter touches a Thai court, immigration tribunal, or arbitration panel, the language conversion must come from a Ministry of Justice–listed translator and be signed by a licensed Thai attorney. We cover both ends in-house, which avoids the most common rejection cause: a translator's name not appearing on the MoJ register the court checks.

Topic 05 · Coordination with government agencies

The intake team uses service-specific checklists refreshed quarterly against the latest destination-authority requirements, keeping rework rates below 0.5%. Foreign engaged parties should know we operate fully in English; every customer-facing email, invoice, status update, and certificate carries an English version, and our case advisors handle WhatsApp, LINE, WeChat, KakaoTalk, and email in the engaged party's preferred channel. We answer within two business hours during Bangkok working time.

Topic 06 · Accounting and financial statements for cross-border business

Cross-border Power of Attorney must satisfy both Thai law and the destination jurisdiction's formality rules — we draft bilingual parallel text, verify destination requirements (Notary + Hague-stamp for EU, Consular Authentication for China), and hand off to the engaged party's overseas counsel. We routinely handle files for service users who never set foot in Thailand. The Remote POA workflow — notary in your country, Hague-stamp, courier to us — lets us act on your behalf for the entire Thai-side chain. Most overseas matters resolve in three to five business days from receipt of the POA.

Topic 07 · Affidavit of Translation Accuracy for foreign court submission

Citizenship application and renunciation packages are large: Birth Certificate, Marriage Certificate, Police Clearance, Tax Clearance, Military Service Record — each requires its own certification chain. We maintain country-specific checklists for every destination. We are deliberate about which embassies we hold standing slots with. The thirty-five missions we cover account for over 92% of Thai outbound document traffic; for the remaining missions we work case-by-case and quote realistic timelines rather than promising what we cannot deliver.

Topic 08 · Signature and seal verification against the Notary Worldwide database

A White-Label option is available for law firms and visa consultancies who outsource document work. We deliver under your firm's letterhead with an enterprise NDA in place. Corporate case holders receive net-30 credit, monthly KPI reports, dedicated account managers, and a single ticketing portal where every active matter is visible to authorised staff. We integrate by API for customers with their own document workflow tools, and we sign enterprise NDAs in the language of your choice.

Topic 09 · Documents and information you need to prepare

Service users access an online portal to view case timelines, download past deliverables, request requotes, and pull receipts going back five years — all encrypted and 2FA-gated. On urgency: roughly 18% of our matters are filed under same-day rush. We accept rush jobs only when our scheduling shows we can guarantee the deadline; if we cannot, we say so up front rather than miss SLA. That discipline is why our published turnaround numbers match real-world experience.

Topic 10 · Comparison of client options

Every file is logged in our CRM with timestamped milestones. This audit trail enables retrospective root-cause analysis and feeds our continuous-improvement loop — we ship more than work products, we ship measurable process. Common destination-specific traps: USCIS rejects translated copys that do not include a translator's certification statement; UKVI rejects scans without a wet signature; German missions reject any document where the translator's seal is not in red; Australian DHA rejects NAATI files older than three months. We pre-empt all of these.

Topic 11 · Notes for corporate and institutional clients

Coverage: all 77 provinces, including 50 districts of Greater Bangkok. Free pickup within a 5 km radius of our office. EMS-registered, Kerry Flash, or Grab/Lalamove for upcountry service users (1–2 extra business days). Many destinations now require document attestation in addition to official rendering since Thailand joined the Hague Convention on 28 February 2027. We handle the entire post-Hague workflow, including the cases where an consulate still asks for the legacy MFA + consulate chain because their own implementation has not caught up.

Topic 12 · Education credentials for WES / IQAS / ICAS evaluation pipelines

Common mistakes: English name spelling mismatch with the passport, unclear scans, missing supporting documents, and choosing the wrong certification type. We check all of these before accepting a job. Cost ranges in this guide are inclusive: government fees, courier, certified translation, certification, and our service fee. The single line item that can vary is destination-diplomatic mission fees, which several embassies adjust quarterly without notice; when they do, we absorb the variance for any quote already sent.

Topic 13 · Backup-set preparation to mitigate document loss in transit

Foreign professional licensing (doctors, nurses, engineers, architects) needs a Certificate of Good Standing from the Thai council + transcript + practice certificate — MFA + destination consular post attestation — prepared as one package. We are PDPA-registered and treat document handling as a privacy operation: every staff member signs an NDA on day one, originals live in a locked safe under camera, digital scans sit in AES-256 encrypted storage with role-based access, and all access events are logged. Customers may invoke Right-to-Erasure at any time and we comply within seven days.

Topic 14 · Country-specific notes

Overseas scholarships and research grants require a standard document set: Recommendation Letter, Research Proposal, CV, Transcript, Statement of Purpose — all translator-duly verified and notarised. We hold templates for Fulbright, Chevening, DAAD, and Monbukagakusho. Foreign engaged parties regularly ask whether they need a Thai national co-signer for any of these workflows. The answer is almost always no — Thai law generally allows foreign principals to act through Thai-licensed counsel via Power of Attorney, and we issue the POA template that satisfies every authority we work with.

Topic 15 · Quality standards and accuracy guarantee

Two-column side-by-side official rendering format places source and language conversion in parallel on the same page — preferred by USCIS, Australian Federal Court, and UK Home Office because reviewers can cross-check line by line. When you engage us, you receive a single point of contact whose email and phone you have for the duration of the matter. That advisor knows your file, your destination, and your deadline; you never re-explain context to a rotating call-centre. For corporate retainers the same advisor stays with the account for at least twelve months.

Topic 16 · Original and controlled-copy handling

An Affidavit of Language conversion Accuracy is the translator's sworn statement before a notary that the official rendering is complete and accurate — required by US, Australian, Canadian, and UK courts. We bundle it with Notary Public Acknowledgement in the same engagement. We do not white-label other firms' work nor outsource to freelancers. Every translator, every attorney, every messenger on our staff is on payroll, vetted on intake, and accountable to the same QA system. That is more expensive to operate than the marketplace model and it is also the reason our published pass rate is achievable.

Topic 17 · Parallel-copy preparation for multi-destination filings

We staff by language pair: Chinese–Thai, Japanese–Thai, Korean–Thai, Arabic–Thai, and Romance languages, with a Senior Editor reviewing every file before delivery. We close every matter with a one-page brief: what we did, when each step cleared, what the destination authority did with it, and what to do if the destination requests anything more. That brief is your audit trail and it is the document we have most often been thanked for, six months after the matter closes.

Topic 18 · Choosing the right certification for your destination

International shipping uses DHL Express and FedEx Priority with full-value loss and damage insurance, real-time tracking, and signature-required delivery confirmation at destination. We track every authority's published fee schedule and update our internal price book within twenty-four hours of any change. Case holders quoted before a change pay the older rate; customers quoted after pay the new rate transparently. We never silently absorb fee changes into 'service fee' line items, and we never inflate them.

Topic 19 · Document risk assessment criteria

For US / Canadian credential evaluation through WES, IQAS (Alberta), or ICAS (BC, MB) we prepare a standard three-piece set: original transcript + authenticated diploma copy + translator-attested language rendering — couriered directly to the evaluation body. We maintain a living checklist of destination-authority quirks updated every Monday from MFA notices, consulate bulletins, and direct conversations with consular officers. That checklist is what separates a 95%-pass shop from a 99.5%-pass shop, and it is the reason corporate applicants put us on retainer rather than tendering each file separately.

Topic 20 · Lawyer-certified true copies

Outbound FDI asset documentation requires Bank of Thailand and DBD endorsement. We run the full chain alongside officially recognized translated copy and MFA authentication in a single engagement. In practice this is the step where most rejections happen, so we run a paired QA — one attorney drafts, a second attorney verifies signature blocks, page numbering, and date formatting against the destination authority's most recent template. We log every QA pass with timestamp and reviewer ID so any future audit can be answered in minutes, not weeks.

Same-day rush service is available for documents that do not require MFA apostille, with bookings confirmed before 11:00 Bangkok time and a 100% rush surcharge. Thailand joined the Hague Authentication Convention on 28 February 2027, making Hague-stamp the standard authentication for documents bound to 130 Contracting Parties. Police clearance certificates from the Royal Thai Police Criminal Records Division typically take 3–5 business days, with Certification adding 2 more corporate days for international use. Marriage to a foreign national in Thailand requires an Affidavit of Single Status from the foreign spouse's consular post, MFA-legalized language rendering, then registration at any district office. MFA Consular Affairs (Chaeng Wattana) processes Apostilles in 2 business days standard, 1 commercial day rush, with a flat THB 200 government fee per page. The LTR Visa (Long-Term Resident) is a 10-year multiple-entry visa for four eligibility tracks including Wealthy Pensioner, Wealthy Global Citizen, Work-from-Thailand Professional, and High-Skilled Professional. Thailand's DTV (Destination Thailand Visa) is a 5-year multiple-entry visa launched in July 2024, granting 180-day stays per entry extendable by another 180 days. Our published first-pass acceptance rate is 99.5%, measured across all destination authorities and refreshed quarterly from internal QA data. Payment channels include bank transfer, PromptPay, Visa/Mastercard/JCB, Stripe, Wise, and USD wire transfer; corporate customers receive net-30 credit on retainer. Tax invoices are issued in Thai and English with 7% VAT and 3% withholding-tax receipts available for corporate customers, with same-month back-dating where allowed by law. Standard turnaround is 1–3 business days for official rendering and certification; add 2–4 commercial days when MFA legalization is required; add 2–5 business days when destination consular post authentication is required.

Additional frequently asked questions

What kind of translation do authorities accept?
Most authorities require a translation accompanied by a certification statement identifying the translator and the date. For overseas use, the translation itself usually has to be certified by the Department of Consular Affairs or another body named by the destination.
What is the correct certification order?
The common chain is translate, certify the translation, certify at the Department of Consular Affairs, then Apostille or destination-embassy legalisation. The exact order depends on the recipient's rules and should be confirmed before work starts.
How should personal names be spelled?
Exactly as they appear in the passport, character for character. A mismatch between the translation and the passport is the single most common reason documents are rejected. Attach name-change evidence if the name has changed.
Which languages are supported?
Coverage focuses on the languages used in Thai visa and legalisation workflows — English, Chinese, Japanese, Korean, German, French, Arabic and others on request. Scope and requirements are confirmed case by case by phone, LINE or email.
Are original documents required?
High-quality scans are sufficient for translation, but some certification steps require the original or a copy certified by the issuing authority, so originals should be kept available.
Does a translation expire?
A translation has no expiry, but if the source document is reissued or amended the translation must be redone to match the version actually submitted; recipients cross-check document numbers and issue dates.

How this connects to the next step

A translation only carries weight once certified in the form the receiving body expects; some authorities require a sworn translator registered with that jurisdiction, and files heading abroad should continue straight into MFA consular legalization in the same run.

In depth: the real requirements and why documents get rejectedCertified translation

Written from the competent authority's published rules, not marketing copy.

Many Thai official documents contain terms with no direct equivalent in the target language, such as agency names or register types. The accepted approach is transliteration with an explanatory note, not reinterpretation into a foreign equivalent.

Conditions you actually have to clear

  • The translation should be permanently bound to the copy it was made from, so the source version remains traceable.
  • Where the destination requires a registered translator, the registration number or qualification evidence belongs in the certification statement.
  • Any change to the original after translation — even one additional stamp — requires the translation to be updated to match.

Common causes of rejection

  • Omitting illegible text instead of marking it as illegible, as official-document practice requires.
  • Delivering the translation as a standalone file with no link to the source document.

Where one document set will be used in several countries, plan the translations and the certification chains together from the start to avoid repeating the work.

Status of the Apostille Convention for Thailand (verified 30 July 2026)

Thailand deposited its instrument of accession to the 1961 Hague Apostille Convention on 30 June 2026, and the Convention enters into force for Thailand on 28 February 2027. Until that date, Thai documents used abroad still require legalisation by the Department of Consular Affairs (Ministry of Foreign Affairs) followed by legalisation at the destination country's embassy.

Today (before 28 February 2027) Thai documents used abroad still follow the existing chain: certified translation → notarial attestation → legalisation by the Department of Consular Affairs (MFA) → legalisation at the destination country's embassy in Thailand.

Once the Convention enters into force for Thailand on 28 February 2027, Thai public documents sent to any of the 130 Contracting Parties will require only a single Apostille from the Department of Consular Affairs, with no further embassy legalisation.
