5-Step Notarisation Procedure

How a Thai Notarial Services Attorney notarises your documents

Standard 5-step procedure used by every Lawyers Council of Thailand–registered Notarial Services Attorney. The output is accepted by Thailand MFA, all foreign embassies in Bangkok, Apostille (since 14 Dec 2024), universities, and foreign authorities worldwide.

Total time: 30 minutes – 1 business day · Last reviewed: 1970-01-01

1. Send your document & destination via LINE / email

Chat us on LINE @iNotary or email Notary@ilc.ltd with the destination country, purpose, and a clear photo of the document. We confirm price, turnaround and next step within 15 minutes.

2. Prepare originals and ID

Bring the original document plus passport or Thai ID of the signatory. Company documents need the company affidavit and seal. We send you a checklist and consent form on LINE.

3. Book a notarisation session (office / mobile / video)

Choose (a) visit our Asoke or Phra Khanong office, (b) we travel to your home, condo, hotel or hospital, or (c) video-call notarisation for overseas signatories. The attorney verifies identity, inspects the document, and witnesses your signature.

4. Attorney signs, seals & numbers the certificate

The Notarial Services Attorney signs, applies dry-seal and Lawyers Council seal, attorney registration number, and date. A bilingual Notarial Certificate is bound to the original document.

5. (Optional) MFA / embassy / Apostille onward chain

If the destination requires it, we hand-carry the document to the Department of Consular Affairs (Chaeng Watthana) for legalisation or Apostille (since 14 Dec 2024) and onward to the destination embassy. Usually 1-5 business days.
