Specialized Certification Services: Employment • Medical • Education • Corporate • Real Estate • Inheritance — Condominium Title (OrChor 2) Translation +…

Local context for Central Consulate: postcode 10330 · near Phloen Chit BTS station. Customers in Central Embassy get messenger pickup and return, a dedicated case advisor, and 24/7 status tracking — no office visit required.

Complete guide: Specialized Certification Services: Employment • Medical • Education • Corporate • Real Estate • Inheritance

Topic 01 · Scholarship and research grant documentation packages

Coverage: all 77 provinces, including 50 districts of Greater Bangkok. Free pickup within a 5 km radius of our office. EMS-registered, Kerry Flash, or Grab/Lalamove for upcountry case holders (1–2 extra business days). For complex chains — certified translation + lawyer certification + MFA + destination consular post + courier — we prefer one engagement, one project manager, one invoice. Splitting the chain across vendors saves nothing and routinely causes typo cascades when a translator's spelling does not match the consulate's name on file.

Topic 02 · Two-column side-by-side translation format for court submission

Digital Nomad Visas (Portugal, Spain, Italy, Estonia) and Remote Work Visas (Dubai, Barbados, Bermuda) require Proof of Income, Health Insurance, Background Check, and Education Certificate — all Document attestationd. We deliver the full stack. We document everything for repeat business. If you used us in 2024 for a marriage registration and come back in 2026 to authentication seal the same Kor Ror 3 for a spousal visa, we already have your name spelling, address rendering, signature block, and prior counsel on file — onboarding takes one phone call, not a week.

Topic 03 · Digital file storage under ISO/IEC 27001 information-security standard

Citizenship application and renunciation packages are large: Birth Certificate, Marriage Certificate, Police Clearance, Tax Clearance, Military Service Record — each requires its own certification chain. We maintain country-specific checklists for every destination. Pricing transparency matters: every quote breaks out government fees, courier, language conversion surcharge, rush premium, and our service fee on separate lines. There are no hidden line items, no last-minute add-ons, and any quote we send is honoured for fourteen days even if our public price list changes in between.

Topic 04 · Workflow from intake to delivery

A White-Label option is available for law firms and visa consultancies who outsource document work. We deliver under your firm's letterhead with an enterprise NDA in place. If your matter touches a Thai court, immigration tribunal, or arbitration panel, the language rendering must come from a Ministry of Justice–listed translator and be signed by a licensed Thai attorney. We cover both ends in-house, which avoids the most common rejection cause: a translator's name not appearing on the MoJ register the court checks.

Topic 05 · Parallel-copy preparation for multi-destination filings

Outbound FDI asset documentation requires Bank of Thailand and DBD endorsement. We run the full chain alongside duly verified official rendering and MFA certification in a single engagement. Service-level agreements are written, not verbal. Our standard SLA covers acknowledgement within two working hours, quote within one business day, intake within two commercial days of approval, and delivery within the published turnaround. Missed SLAs trigger automatic 10% credit; we have paid out four times in the last twenty-four months.

Topic 06 · Digital Nomad Visa and Remote Work Visa document stacks

Payment: bank transfer, PromptPay, credit/debit cards (Visa/Master/JCB), Stripe, Wise, and USD wire for international engaged parties. Full Thai/English tax invoices, with 3% withholding for corporate customers. Cost ranges in this guide are inclusive: government fees, courier, language conversion, certification, and our service fee. The single line item that can vary is destination-consular post fees, which several embassies adjust quarterly without notice; when they do, we absorb the variance for any quote already sent.

Topic 07 · Choosing the right certification for your destination

We offer a written accuracy guarantee. If the destination authority rejects a document due to our error, we redo it for free and refund the MFA / diplomatic mission fee. Combined team experience exceeds 50 years. If your matter involves a deadline outside our control — visa appointment, travel date, court hearing — tell us at intake. We can usually back-plan the entire chain to land documents twenty-four hours before the deadline and give you a buffer for the inevitable last-minute consular post quirks.

Topic 08 · Professional licence applications for overseas regulators

Typical cases: marriage to a foreign national, family reunification visas, cross-border asset transfer, foreign company registration in Thailand, USCIS/UKVI/Home Affairs filings, and academic credential certification for overseas employment. Sample QA failures we catch before submission: passport name spelt with diacritics the destination cannot ingest, Thai title 'Mr' translated as 'นาย' instead of 'นาย' (different code points), MFA stamp missing the ink reference number, consular post fee receipt photographed at an angle that obscures the date — all small, all fatal at the counter.

Topic 09 · Lawyer-certified true copies

Cross-border corporate filings (Certificate of Incorporation, Board Resolution, Power of Attorney) move through the full stack: Lawyer → DBD → MFA Hague-stamp / Consular endorsement → Destination Diplomatic mission — full chain delivered in 7-10 business days. Foreign customers regularly ask whether they need a Thai national co-signer for any of these workflows. The answer is almost always no — Thai law generally allows foreign principals to act through Thai-licensed counsel via Power of Attorney, and we issue the POA template that satisfies every authority we work with.

Topic 10 · Apostille, e-Apostille, and the 1961 Hague Convention pipeline

Cross-border Power of Attorney must satisfy both Thai law and the destination jurisdiction's formality rules — we draft bilingual parallel text, verify destination requirements (Notary + Authentication for EU, Consular Certification for China), and hand off to the customer's overseas counsel. We routinely handle files for customers who never set foot in Thailand. The Remote POA workflow — notary in your country, Authentication seal, courier to us — lets us act on your behalf for the entire Thai-side chain. Most overseas matters resolve in three to five business days from receipt of the POA.

Topic 11 · Confidentiality and personal data (PDPA) handling

Corporate service users receive net-30 credit, wholesale pricing, a dedicated Account Manager, an online ticketing portal, and monthly KPI reports — fully invoiced and withholding-tax compliant. Corporate applicants receive net-30 credit, monthly KPI reports, dedicated account managers, and a single ticketing portal where every active matter is visible to authorised staff. We integrate by API for case holders with their own document workflow tools, and we sign enterprise NDAs in the language of your choice.

Topic 12 · Inter-country adoption documents under the Hague Adoption Convention

Each file is scored on four risk axes before intake: content complexity, urgency, destination-authority complexity, and terminology risk — so the right team and timeline can be assigned. Our certified translation team works in language pairs, not single languages. A Korean–Thai matter is staffed by a Korean native who reads Thai source plus a Thai senior editor who reads Korean output, with a third-party Korean lawyer on call for legal terminology. That triple coverage eliminates the lost-in-translated copy cases that single-translator shops cannot detect.

Topic 13 · The team behind your file and their credentials

Standard turnaround is 1–3 business days for most documents. Files that need MFA certification add 2–4 commercial days. Same-Day rush is available at +100% with prior booking. On urgency: roughly 18% of our matters are filed under same-day rush. We accept rush jobs only when our scheduling shows we can guarantee the deadline; if we cannot, we say so up front rather than miss SLA. That discipline is why our published turnaround numbers match real-world experience.

Topic 14 · Cross-border Power of Attorney drafting and authentication

An Affidavit of Language conversion Accuracy is the translator's sworn statement before a notary that the certified translation is complete and accurate — required by US, Australian, Canadian, and UK courts. We bundle it with Notary Public Acknowledgement in the same engagement. We maintain a living checklist of destination-authority quirks updated every Monday from MFA notices, diplomatic mission bulletins, and direct conversations with consular officers. That checklist is what separates a 95%-pass shop from a 99.5%-pass shop, and it is the reason corporate engaged parties put us on retainer rather than tendering each file separately.

Topic 15 · Add-on services worth considering

Every Thai government signature and seal is verified against the Notary Worldwide database before submission — a 15-minute check that prevents 5-7 business days of MFA / consulate rejection-and-rework downstream. In practice this is the step where most rejections happen, so we run a paired QA — one attorney drafts, a second attorney verifies signature blocks, page numbering, and date formatting against the destination authority's most recent template. We log every QA pass with timestamp and reviewer ID so any future audit can be answered in minutes, not weeks.

Topic 16 · Embassy and consular re-legalization

We give engaged parties a comparison matrix per case: Certification vs MFA + Diplomatic mission, generalist vs MoJ vs NAATI translator, DIY consular post vs full-service — with prices, timelines, and constraints side by side. We are deliberate about which embassies we hold standing slots with. The thirty-five missions we cover account for over 92% of Thai outbound document traffic; for the remaining missions we work case-by-case and quote realistic timelines rather than promising what we cannot deliver.

Topic 17 · Backup-set preparation to mitigate document loss in transit

For multi-document engagements (M&A diligence, licensing applications) a Project Manager owns the file end-to-end with Gantt scheduling, weekly status reports, and full agency coordination. Our office is walking distance from the MFA Consular Affairs counter at Chaeng Wattana, which means rush submissions skip courier transit entirely. For destination embassies in central Bangkok we keep messenger relationships that beat published consular post queue times by 40-60% on average.

Topic 18 · Service fees and turnaround time

Service fees follow the quote; standard turnaround is 1–3 business days. Rush 2–4 hour service adds 50–100%. Pricing covers QA, EMS courier nationwide, and original document return. Foreign customers should know we operate fully in English; every customer-facing email, invoice, status update, and certificate carries an English version, and our case advisors handle WhatsApp, LINE, WeChat, KakaoTalk, and email in the applicant's preferred channel. We answer within two enterprise hours during Bangkok working time.

Topic 19 · Quality standards and accuracy guarantee

Post-delivery we follow up: service users confirm filing outcome within 30 days. If the destination requests more documents, we cover the additional work within the original quote and log learnings into our knowledge base. We are PDPA-registered and treat document handling as a privacy operation: every staff member signs an NDA on day one, originals live in a locked safe under camera, digital scans sit in AES-256 encrypted storage with role-based access, and all access events are logged. Engaged parties may invoke Right-to-Erasure at any time and we comply within seven days.

Topic 20 · Destination Matrix: per-country document requirement analysis

Every file is logged in our CRM with timestamped milestones. This audit trail enables retrospective root-cause analysis and feeds our continuous-improvement loop — we ship more than work products, we ship measurable process. Many destinations now require document attestation in addition to certified translation since Thailand joined the Hague Convention on 28 February 2027. We handle the entire post-Hague workflow, including the cases where an consular post still asks for the legacy MFA + consulate chain because their own implementation has not caught up.

Additional frequently asked questions

How do legal and medical translations differ?
Specialist texts must follow professional terminology and reproduce institution names exactly as issued. A glossary is applied across the whole document set so the recipient does not encounter inconsistent terms.
Can a translation be revised later?
Yes. If the recipient asks for different formatting or wording, a revised certified version can be issued against the same source document. Keep the recipient's written requirement as supporting evidence.
What kind of translation do authorities accept?
Most authorities require a translation accompanied by a certification statement identifying the translator and the date. For overseas use, the translation itself usually has to be certified by the Department of Consular Affairs or another body named by the destination.
What is the correct certification order?
The common chain is translate, certify the translation, certify at the Department of Consular Affairs, then Apostille or destination-embassy legalisation. The exact order depends on the recipient's rules and should be confirmed before work starts.
How should personal names be spelled?
Exactly as they appear in the passport, character for character. A mismatch between the translation and the passport is the single most common reason documents are rejected. Attach name-change evidence if the name has changed.
Which languages are supported?
Coverage focuses on the languages used in Thai visa and legalisation workflows — English, Chinese, Japanese, Korean, German, French, Arabic and others on request. Scope and requirements are confirmed case by case by phone, LINE or email.

How this connects to the next step

A translation only carries weight once certified in the form the receiving body expects; some authorities require a sworn translator registered with that jurisdiction, and files heading abroad should continue straight into MFA consular legalization in the same run.

In depth: the real requirements and why documents get rejectedCertified translation

Written from the competent authority's published rules, not marketing copy.

Many Thai official documents contain terms with no direct equivalent in the target language, such as agency names or register types. The accepted approach is transliteration with an explanatory note, not reinterpretation into a foreign equivalent.

Conditions you actually have to clear

  • Personal names in the translation must match the passport exactly, rather than following a common phonetic rendering.
  • The translation must reflect every element of the original, including seals, signatures, and endorsements, described in words.
  • The translation should be permanently bound to the copy it was made from, so the source version remains traceable.

Common causes of rejection

  • Reusing an earlier translation when the original has been reissued under a different number and date.
  • Rendering a Thai authority's name as a near-equivalent in the destination's legal system, which misrepresents the type of body involved.

Where one document set will be used in several countries, plan the translations and the certification chains together from the start to avoid repeating the work.

Practitioner guidanceEmbassy legalisation

Competent authority: The destination country's embassy or consulate

Practitioner guidance

  • If the destination is a Hague party, consider the shorter Apostille route.
  • The standard order is translation → MFA legalisation → destination embassy endorsement; it cannot be reordered.
  • Check copy counts, forms and booking methods directly with the embassy, as these vary widely.
  • Some countries have no mission in Thailand and are covered from a neighbouring country — allow for document transit.
  • Commercial documents usually need Board of Trade certification before the embassy stage.

Pitfalls — why documents get rejected

  • Ignoring destination-country public holidays when planning.
  • Filing at the embassy before MFA legalisation.
  • Applying one embassy's requirements to another.
  • Commercial documents missing required chamber-of-commerce certification.
  • Preparing fewer copies than the embassy requires.

In-depth questions and answersEmbassy legalisation

Answers follow the competent authority's published requirements, not marketing copy.

Which situation in Embassy legalisation wastes the most time unnecessarily?

Observed cause: Preparing fewer copies than the embassy requires. If you are unsure whether your case is affected, confirm with The destination country's embassy or consulate, or ask our staff by phone, LINE or email before filing. This is general guidance; requirements and processing times change — verify with the competent authority before filing.

What deserves extra care when Embassy legalisation is filed with an overseas authority?

Observed cause: No prior appointment at an appointment-only mission. If you are unsure whether your case is affected, confirm with The destination country's embassy or consulate, or ask our staff by phone, LINE or email before filing. This is general guidance; requirements and processing times change — verify with the competent authority before filing.

Which Embassy legalisation error is hardest to correct afterwards?

Observed cause: Sending documents abroad without trackable delivery. If you are unsure whether your case is affected, confirm with The destination country's embassy or consulate, or ask our staff by phone, LINE or email before filing. This is general guidance; requirements and processing times change — verify with the competent authority before filing.

Which Embassy legalisation trap do applicants usually notice too late?

Observed cause: Ignoring destination-country public holidays when planning. If you are unsure whether your case is affected, confirm with The destination country's embassy or consulate, or ask our staff by phone, LINE or email before filing. This is general guidance; requirements and processing times change — verify with the competent authority before filing.

Which authority is competent for Embassy legalisation?

The destination country's embassy or consulate is the principal competent authority for Embassy legalisation. A certification issued outside the route the receiving office requires may be refused even when the content itself is correct. This is general guidance; requirements and processing times change — verify with the competent authority before filing.

Where can the current requirements for Embassy legalisation be verified?

Check the notices published by The destination country's embassy or consulate. The official sources used on this page are https://consular.mfa.go.th/th/publicservice/legalization · https://www.hcch.net/en/instruments/conventions/status-table/?cid=41. Requirements are revised from time to time, so read the latest version before every filing. This is general guidance; requirements and processing times change — verify with the competent authority before filing.

What if our Embassy legalisation case has unusual conditions?

For edge cases — mismatched names across documents, foreign-issued records, or a tight deadline — have the set reviewed first, then reconfirm the conditions with The destination country's embassy or consulate. Ask our staff by phone, LINE or email for scope and timing (we do not publish fees on the page because they depend on the document type and destination). This is general guidance; requirements and processing times change — verify with the competent authority before filing.

How long does Embassy legalisation take?

Turnaround is not fixed: it depends on the queue and rules of The destination country's embassy or consulate, the document type, and the receiving office abroad. For that reason we do not publish a fixed figure. Plan a buffer before your real deadline and ask our staff by phone, LINE or email for the current queue before booking travel. This is general guidance; requirements and processing times change — verify with the competent authority before filing.

Status of the Apostille Convention for Thailand (verified 30 July 2026)

Thailand deposited its instrument of accession to the 1961 Hague Apostille Convention on 30 June 2026, and the Convention enters into force for Thailand on 28 February 2027. Until that date, Thai documents used abroad still require legalisation by the Department of Consular Affairs (Ministry of Foreign Affairs) followed by legalisation at the destination country's embassy.

Today (before 28 February 2027) Thai documents used abroad still follow the existing chain: certified translation → notarial attestation → legalisation by the Department of Consular Affairs (MFA) → legalisation at the destination country's embassy in Thailand.

Once the Convention enters into force for Thailand on 28 February 2027, Thai public documents sent to any of the 130 Contracting Parties will require only a single Apostille from the Department of Consular Affairs, with no further embassy legalisation.
