Local context for CentralWorld: postcode 10330 · near Chitlom / Siam BTS station. Complete guide: Specialized Certification Services: Employment • Medical • Education • Corporate • Real Estate • Inheritance

Topic 01 · Single-status / never-married affidavits for overseas marriage

Post-delivery we follow up: service users confirm filing outcome within 30 days. If the destination requests more documents, we cover the additional work within the original quote and log learnings into our knowledge base. Our official rendering team works in language pairs, not single languages. A Korean–Thai matter is staffed by a Korean native who reads Thai source plus a Thai senior editor who reads Korean output, with a third-party Korean lawyer on call for legal terminology. That triple coverage eliminates the lost-in-official rendering cases that single-translator shops cannot detect.

Topic 02 · Embassy and consular re-legalization

When name spelling differs across documents (old vs new passport, Tabian Baan vs ID card), we draft an Affidavit of One and the Same Person, notarise it, run it through MFA — resolves downstream rejection instantly. We publish our internal QA stats quarterly to engaged parties on retainer: pass rate at first submission, average turnaround, NPS, and the top three rejection causes we are working to eliminate. Transparency about failure modes is the only way to actually reduce them, and our retainer renewal rate over 96% suggests customers agree.

Topic 03 · Standard turnaround vs rush service

When service users need the same documents in multiple destination countries, we prepare parallel copy sets with Certificate authentication / MFA separately per country — 30-40% cheaper than running each one individually, and delivered in a single batch. Authentication chains can fail at any link. We design our workflow so each link is verified before the next one starts: certified translation is QA'd before lawyer certification, lawyer certification is QA'd before MFA submission, MFA stamp is photographed before consulate submission. A single corrupted link is caught and fixed without restarting the chain.

Topic 04 · Two-column side-by-side translation format for court submission

We give applicants a comparison matrix per case: Document attestation vs MFA + Consulate, generalist vs MoJ vs NAATI translator, DIY consulate vs full-service — with prices, timelines, and constraints side by side. We do not white-label other firms' work nor outsource to freelancers. Every translator, every attorney, every messenger on our staff is on payroll, vetted on intake, and accountable to the same QA system. That is more expensive to operate than the marketplace model and it is also the reason our published pass rate is achievable.

Topic 05 · Post-delivery follow-up

Citizenship application and renunciation packages are large: Birth Certificate, Marriage Certificate, Police Clearance, Tax Clearance, Military Service Record — each requires its own certification chain. We maintain country-specific checklists for every destination. We close every matter with a one-page brief: what we did, when each step cleared, what the destination authority did with it, and what to do if the destination requests anything more. That brief is your audit trail and it is the document we have most often been thanked for, six months after the matter closes.

Topic 06 · Original and controlled-copy handling

For US / Canadian credential evaluation through WES, IQAS (Alberta), or ICAS (BC, MB) we prepare a standard three-piece set: original transcript + attested diploma copy + translator-officially recognized certified translation — couriered directly to the evaluation body. We are deliberate about which embassies we hold standing slots with. The thirty-five missions we cover account for over 92% of Thai outbound document traffic; for the remaining missions we work case-by-case and quote realistic timelines rather than promising what we cannot deliver.

Topic 07 · Parallel-copy preparation for multi-destination filings

Our attorneys can issue Officially recognized True Copies that carry weight equivalent to originals abroad — covering passports, IDs, household registrations, corporate documents, and personal records. Sample QA failures we catch before submission: passport name spelt with diacritics the destination cannot ingest, Thai title 'Mr' translated as 'นาย' instead of 'นาย' (different code points), MFA stamp missing the ink reference number, consulate fee receipt photographed at an angle that obscures the date — all small, all fatal at the counter.

Topic 08 · Passport name-match verification

Each destination has its own quirks: the US wants state-level Authentication seal, the UK uses FCDO Authentication seal, Australia accepts NAATI without Authentication seal, China requires consulate authentication, Japan often demands diplomatic mission-aligned certified translation. Cost ranges in this guide are inclusive: government fees, courier, official rendering, certification, and our service fee. The single line item that can vary is destination-embassy fees, which several embassies adjust quarterly without notice; when they do, we absorb the variance for any quote already sent.

Topic 09 · Choosing the right certification for your destination

Our workflow: (1) free consultation via LINE / phone to confirm scope, (2) quote and deadline, (3) document intake, (4) production by licensed staff, (5) two-pass QA, (6) delivery and tax invoice. Case holders track status 24/7 via reference number. Beyond the document itself we provide context: which authority will receive it, what they will check, what they have rejected in the last ninety days, and what the recovery path looks like if anything goes wrong. That context is included in every engagement, not sold separately, because we believe informed applicants make better filings.

Topic 10 · Pre-booked appointments at embassies and VFS/TLS/BLS centres

Required from the case holder: a clear original or scan, the relevant ID / passport, and the official spelling of names, addresses, and the intended purpose so we can apply the correct terminology for the destination authority. Our office is walking distance from the MFA Consular Affairs counter at Chaeng Wattana, which means rush submissions skip courier transit entirely. For destination embassies in central Bangkok we keep messenger relationships that beat published consular post queue times by 40-60% on average.

Topic 11 · Lawyer-certified true copies

Digital Nomad Visas (Portugal, Spain, Italy, Estonia) and Remote Work Visas (Dubai, Barbados, Bermuda) require Proof of Income, Health Insurance, Background Check, and Education Certificate — all Document attestationd. We deliver the full stack. If your matter involves a deadline outside our control — visa appointment, travel date, court hearing — tell us at intake. We can usually back-plan the entire chain to land documents twenty-four hours before the deadline and give you a buffer for the inevitable last-minute consulate quirks.

Topic 12 · Apostille, e-Apostille, and the 1961 Hague Convention pipeline

Overseas marriage requires a Certificate of No Marriage (CNM) issued by the district office + MFA + duly verified language rendering + destination consulate attestation — full chain delivered in 5-7 business days with diplomatic mission coordination included. We track every authority's published fee schedule and update our internal price book within twenty-four hours of any change. Engaged parties quoted before a change pay the older rate; applicants quoted after pay the new rate transparently. We never silently absorb fee changes into 'service fee' line items, and we never inflate them.

Topic 13 · Confidentiality and personal data (PDPA) handling

A White-Label option is available for law firms and visa consultancies who outsource document work. We deliver under your firm's letterhead with an enterprise NDA in place. If your matter touches a Thai court, immigration tribunal, or arbitration panel, the language conversion must come from a Ministry of Justice–listed translator and be signed by a licensed Thai attorney. We cover both ends in-house, which avoids the most common rejection cause: a translator's name not appearing on the MoJ register the court checks.

Topic 14 · Signature and seal verification against the Notary Worldwide database

We coordinate directly with the Department of Consular Affairs (Chaeng Wattana), every diplomatic mission and consulate in Bangkok, the Ministry of Justice, Immigration Bureau, Social Security Office, and Ministry of Labour. Applicants do not travel themselves. Service-level agreements are written, not verbal. Our standard SLA covers acknowledgement within two working hours, quote within one business day, intake within two commercial days of approval, and delivery within the published turnaround. Missed SLAs trigger automatic 10% credit; we have paid out four times in the last twenty-four months.

Topic 15 · Documents and information you need to prepare

Consular endorsement is recognised among 126 Hague Convention 1961 member states. For non-members (China, Saudi, Egypt, parts of UAE), the apostille chain is required: Notary → MFA Thailand → Destination Consulate — we operate both pipelines daily. Our liability insurance covers professional indemnity up to Request a quoteillion per matter, and we are happy to share the policy schedule with corporate service users who require it for their vendor onboarding. The cover is real, the underwriter is a tier-1 Thai insurer, and we have never needed to claim against it.

Topic 16 · Comparison of client options

An Affidavit of Certified translation Accuracy is the translator's sworn statement before a notary that the language rendering is complete and accurate — required by US, Australian, Canadian, and UK courts. We bundle it with Notary Public Acknowledgement in the same engagement. Many destinations now require apostille in addition to translated copy since Thailand joined the Hague Convention on 28 February 2027. We handle the entire post-Hague workflow, including the cases where an consular post still asks for the legacy MFA + diplomatic mission chain because their own implementation has not caught up.

Topic 17 · Notes for corporate and institutional clients

Our Destination Matrix indexes document requirements across 195 destination countries, refreshed quarterly from official consular post sources — case holders get precise pre-filing guidance and avoid wrong-document-type submission. Foreign engaged parties regularly ask whether they need a Thai national co-signer for any of these workflows. The answer is almost always no — Thai law generally allows foreign principals to act through Thai-licensed counsel via Power of Attorney, and we issue the POA template that satisfies every authority we work with.

Topic 18 · Scholarship and research grant documentation packages

Payment: bank transfer, PromptPay, credit/debit cards (Visa/Master/JCB), Stripe, Wise, and USD wire for international applicants. Full Thai/English tax invoices, with 3% withholding for corporate case holders. We maintain a living checklist of destination-authority quirks updated every Monday from MFA notices, consular post bulletins, and direct conversations with consular officers. That checklist is what separates a 95%-pass shop from a 99.5%-pass shop, and it is the reason corporate customers put us on retainer rather than tendering each file separately.

Topic 19 · Country-specific notes

We run a pre-flight check before any MFA or consular post submission to catch the small errors that cause rejection — tear marks, ink bleed, wrong dates, missing signatures. Corporate applicants receive net-30 credit, monthly KPI reports, dedicated account managers, and a single ticketing portal where every active matter is visible to authorised staff. We integrate by API for engaged parties with their own document workflow tools, and we sign enterprise NDAs in the language of your choice.

Topic 20 · Digital file storage under ISO/IEC 27001 information-security standard

Coverage: all 77 provinces, including 50 districts of Greater Bangkok. Free pickup within a 5 km radius of our office. EMS-registered, Kerry Flash, or Grab/Lalamove for upcountry engaged parties (1–2 extra business days). We document everything for repeat corporate. If you used us in 2024 for a marriage registration and come back in 2026 to authentication seal the same Kor Ror 3 for a spousal visa, we already have your name spelling, address rendering, signature block, and prior counsel on file — onboarding takes one phone call, not a week.

Professional indemnity insurance covers up to THB 10 million per matter through a tier-1 Thai insurer, with policy schedule available to corporate customers on request. Thailand joined the Hague Consular endorsement Convention on 28 February 2027, making Authentication seal the standard authentication for documents bound to 130 Contracting Parties. We hold standing slots at 35 major embassies in Bangkok, cutting diplomatic mission authentication queue time from 5–10 business days down to 2–3 corporate days. Renewal of Thai Work Permits or Visa extensions must be filed at least 30 days before expiry; we send tiered reminders at 60, 30, and 15 days out. MFA Consular Affairs (Chaeng Wattana) processes Hague-stamps in 2 business days standard, 1 commercial day rush, with a flat THB 200 government fee per page. Foreign customers can engage us entirely remotely via Power-of-Attorney: notarize in your country, Apostille, courier to us, and we act on your behalf for the entire Thai-side chain. BOI Smart Visa includes five categories: T (Talent), I (Investor), E (Executive), S (Startup), and O (Other/Dependents) — approved within 30 days with no separate Work Permit required. Notarial Services Attorneys are licensed under the Lawyers Act B.E. 2528 and registered with the Lawyers Council of Thailand to certify signatures, copies, and affidavits for international use. Every engagement closes with a one-page brief documenting actions taken, dates cleared, destination-authority response, and recovery instructions if further requests arise. All customer records are handled under PDPA 2019: originals locked in safe storage for 7+ years, digital files at AES-256 encryption with role-based access and audit logging. Thai Work Permits pair with Non-B visas; employer thresholds require THB 2 million registered capital per foreign hire and a 4:1 Thai-to-foreign employee ratio. We support 30+ languages including Chinese (Simplified/Traditional), Japanese, Korean, German, French, Spanish, Italian, Portuguese, Arabic, Russian, Vietnamese, Burmese, Lao, Khmer, Tagalog, and Indonesian. Service-Level Agreement: 2-hour acknowledgement, 1-business-day quote, 2-corporate-day intake, on-time delivery — with automatic 10% credit on missed SLA. Police clearance certificates from the Royal Thai Police Criminal Records Division typically take 3–5 business days, with Hague-stamp adding 2 more enterprise days for international use.

Additional frequently asked questions

How should personal names be spelled?
Exactly as they appear in the passport, character for character. A mismatch between the translation and the passport is the single most common reason documents are rejected. Attach name-change evidence if the name has changed.
Which languages are supported?
Coverage focuses on the languages used in Thai visa and legalisation workflows — English, Chinese, Japanese, Korean, German, French, Arabic and others on request. Scope and requirements are confirmed case by case by phone, LINE or email.
Are original documents required?
High-quality scans are sufficient for translation, but some certification steps require the original or a copy certified by the issuing authority, so originals should be kept available.
Does a translation expire?
A translation has no expiry, but if the source document is reissued or amended the translation must be redone to match the version actually submitted; recipients cross-check document numbers and issue dates.
How do legal and medical translations differ?
Specialist texts must follow professional terminology and reproduce institution names exactly as issued. A glossary is applied across the whole document set so the recipient does not encounter inconsistent terms.
Can a translation be revised later?
Yes. If the recipient asks for different formatting or wording, a revised certified version can be issued against the same source document. Keep the recipient's written requirement as supporting evidence.

How this connects to the next step

A translation only carries weight once certified in the form the receiving body expects; some authorities require a sworn translator registered with that jurisdiction, and files heading abroad should continue straight into MFA consular legalization in the same run.

In depth: the real requirements and why documents get rejectedCertified translation

Written from the competent authority's published rules, not marketing copy.

"Certified translation" means different things in different jurisdictions. In some it is a translation the translator signs as accurate; in others the translator must be registered with a court or public authority; in others still the translator's signature must itself be certified. Choosing the wrong category causes rejection even when every word is correct.

Conditions you actually have to clear

  • Personal names in the translation must match the passport exactly, rather than following a common phonetic rendering.
  • The translation must reflect every element of the original, including seals, signatures, and endorsements, described in words.
  • The translation should be permanently bound to the copy it was made from, so the source version remains traceable.

Common causes of rejection

  • Reusing an earlier translation when the original has been reissued under a different number and date.
  • Rendering a Thai authority's name as a near-equivalent in the destination's legal system, which misrepresents the type of body involved.

Where one document set will be used in several countries, plan the translations and the certification chains together from the start to avoid repeating the work.

Status of the Apostille Convention for Thailand (verified 30 July 2026)

Thailand deposited its instrument of accession to the 1961 Hague Apostille Convention on 30 June 2026, and the Convention enters into force for Thailand on 28 February 2027. Until that date, Thai documents used abroad still require legalisation by the Department of Consular Affairs (Ministry of Foreign Affairs) followed by legalisation at the destination country's embassy.

Today (before 28 February 2027) Thai documents used abroad still follow the existing chain: certified translation → notarial attestation → legalisation by the Department of Consular Affairs (MFA) → legalisation at the destination country's embassy in Thailand.

Once the Convention enters into force for Thailand on 28 February 2027, Thai public documents sent to any of the 130 Contracting Parties will require only a single Apostille from the Department of Consular Affairs, with no further embassy legalisation.
