What type of PCC does France require?
France requires MFA legalization followed by attestation at the สถานทูตฝรั่งเศส. Every certificate we ship carries the issuing authority's full stamp and signature, certified translation by an MFA-recognized translator, MFA consular legalization, and สถานทูตฝรั่งเศส attestation when required.
France visas commonly requiring PCC
Talent Passport, VLS-TS. All long-stay visas above require a PCC from every country where the applicant lived for 6–12 months or more during the past 5–10 years. Our finished certificate is ready to file immediately after the legalization chain is complete.
Workflow for clients already in France
(1) Sign and have the PoA legalized at the Thai consular post in France. (2) Ship originals and copies to our Thailand team. (3) We process the criminal records check, fingerprinting via FBI FD-258 or the Thai diplomatic mission. (4) Translation + MFA legalization + สถานทูตฝรั่งเศส attestation. (5) DHL/FedEx ships back to France in 7–15 days — total 15–30 days from dispatch.
Total cost shipping to France
Bundled cost shipping to France ranges THB 6,000–15,000 depending on number of copies, translation language, and legalization level (MFA only vs. สถานทูตฝรั่งเศส attestation). Postage ~ THB 2,500. Request a precise bundled quote anytime.
Difference between the police PCC and MFA / embassy legalization
Former military and police personnel get a PCC noting their rank and unit. Some embassies (Germany, France) request a Discharge Letter to confirm no military-court cases.
What the certificate looks like and key fields to verify
Cross-checking against an FBI Background Check (for US visas and employment) goes through an authorized channeler — Accurate Biometrics, Fieldprint, or via the US consulate in Thailand. We coordinate both sides, cutting 30 days down to 10-15.
Translating the PCC into English and the destination language
For Hague Apostille Convention countries (113 jurisdictions) we package an Document attestation-ready PCC via MFA legalization. Thailand hasn't joined the Convention directly, but the MFA + consulate legalization combination is accepted as a functional substitute.
